LA Lakers’ Epic Comeback: LeBron James Leads Double-Overtime Victory Against Golden State Warriors

MUST READ

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made history

Despite being the oldest player in the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is still an absolute force. With 36 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists vs. the Golden State Warriors, James became the oldest player in NBA history to record a 30-point triple-double, breaking his own record which was set in 2022, per Basketball Reference’s StatHead.

Los Angeles Lakers defeated Golden State Warriors 145-144!

It was an absolutely incredible showing for James on Saturday night, who continues to dominate even this late into his career. Showing no signs of slowing down, James is again an All-Star game starter, and performances like this, along with his unmatched league-wide popularity, are the reasons why.

Neither the Lakers or Warriors have played they way they wanted to this season, as each entered the night with 23 losses on the season, and outside of the playoff picture. That said, both of these teams have the talent to be better than they have been up until this point, and that was on full display in this game.

For the Lakers, they are trying to climb out of the play-in picture and get into the playoffs. For the Warriors, they still need to get back into the play-in picture before they can climb any higher.

This game between the Warriors and Lakers was an absolute thriller, and LeBron James turned in a historical performance that will likely never be matched by a player of his age.
