Trump praised Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his remarks at Mar-a-Lago, calling his pick to lead HHS “a great guy and so popular.”
“He wants to make people healthy,” Trump said. “It’s driven him pretty wild over the last number of years, and the Democrats didn’t treat him well.”
Later he joked, “Don’t get too popular, Bobby.”
“You know, you’ve reached about the level,” he said as the audience laughed. “No, we want you to come up with things and ideas and what you’ve been talking about for a long time, and I think you’re going to do some unbelievable thing.”
